START Now! is an organization designed to help individuals and families become self sufficient by educating them and providing them with the support and opportunities available in society and allowing them to become thriving members of the community.

Welcome to START Now!, a
501(c)(3) not-for-profit based in Stamford, Connecticut. We were established on the simple principle that we need to begin taking action ourselves in order to improve the communities we live in and the lives of our citizens.

This is the time to work together. When individuals begin to take responsibility for their own communities and unite for a common cause, results happen. Together we can begin to turn the tides.

"A Stamford mother of five... said that HSBC helped her lower her mortgage payment by as much as $1,200. She and her husband had been in default since November. They learned about the [START Now!] event through a flier. "[They] put us in contact with people who were decision makers.

After the April 18 event, 41 homeowners managed to lower their monthly mortgage payments by an average of $440"
